Well, April 1 has come and gone, and as you may have noticed, Dorchester did not supply booksellers with A Tryst With Trouble. Watch this blog for updates on the book’s publication status.
In the meantime, I’ve updated my widget to the right with my new debut book, Ruined by Rumor, which will be out May 21.
And, finally, I’ve created Pinterest boards for each of my books, completed and in progress. If you’re interested in viewing some of the images that inspired Ruined by Rumor, go here.

RT Review
by admin on Mar.21, 2012, under Uncategorized
I just learned from Carina Press that my upcoming release, RUINED BY RUMOR, received four stars in RT Book Reviews. (For those new to the romance world, RT stands for Romantic Times.) According to the review, “This delightful, absorbing Regency romance, with a wonderfully dashing hero and an innocent, young, yet intelligent heroine, is a truly entertaining vacation to the past.” Thanks, RT!
RUINED BY RUMOR will be available on May 21, 2012.

Here’s the cover for my May 21 release from Carina Press, RUINED BY RUMOR. Isn’t it gorgeous?
I love the library setting, and the artists captured the heroine, Roxana, perfectly.

News, good and otherwise
by admin on Feb.18, 2012, under Uncategorized
For those who’ve asked about the latest developments at Dorchester Publishing and their impact on the release of A TRYST WITH TROUBLE, I don’t have any word yet, but I’ll post as soon as I hear more. All I know is that the publisher is “reorganizing and reassessing its product lines” and won’t announce until at least the end of the month whether the book will be released on April 1 as re-scheduled.
Whatever the news from Dorchester, it will not affect my other release, RUINED BY RUMOR. That book is with a different publisher (Carina Press, a division of Harlequin) and it will definitely be coming out on May 21.
Meanwhile, in happier news, A TRYST WITH TROUBLE received a lovely review from inspirational author Dawn Crandall. To read it, click here.
Regency prophets
by admin on Jan.19, 2012, under Uncategorized
Nostradamus? The Mayan Calendar? They had nothing on the prophets of the late Georgian era, including a 65-year-old woman who claimed she was pregnant with the Messiah. I’m blogging about them today at Romancing the Past.
